how it works

Detoxification – The First Step to Recovery

Detoxification marks the initial stage of the treatment process, during which medications are administered to manage withdrawal symptoms and other complications that may arise when an individual discontinues alcohol or drug use. Any associated health concerns are also addressed simultaneously to ensure overall physical stability.

This medically supervised procedure helps the body safely eliminate addictive substances from the system. The acute withdrawal phase typically lasts between one to fourteen days, depending on the substance and individual condition.

Once patients achieve three to four days of medical stability, they begin participating in rehabilitation sessions aimed at raising awareness about addiction as a disease and understanding the nature of chemical dependency. Each patient undergoes a comprehensive assessment to identify alcohol- or drug-related physical and psychological conditions, ensuring that appropriate medical and therapeutic interventions are provided to support lasting recovery.

De-addiction at Prathyasha Bhavan

At Prathyasha Bhavan, we understand that overcoming alcohol addiction is a deeply personal and challenging journey that requires comprehensive care and consistent support. Our renowned de-addiction and rehabilitation program is designed to heal not only the individual but also the family system that surrounds them. One of the core components of our program is Group Therapy—a powerful medium for recovery built on shared experiences, mutual encouragement, and professional guidance. Within this safe and empathetic space, individuals find strength in community, rediscover self-worth, and build confidence as they progress toward lasting sobriety.

We also recognize that true recovery extends beyond the individual. Addiction affects the entire family, and healing must encompass those relationships as well. Our Family Therapy Program offers a transformative environment where families can reconnect, rebuild trust, and foster mutual understanding. Together, we nurture emotional healing and create a supportive foundation for long-term recovery.

At Prathyasha Bhavan, every step is guided by compassion, care, and the belief that healing is possible—one person, one family, and one day at a time.
