about

“Prathyasha Bhavan” has been a beacon of light and hope for countless alcoholics and chemically dependent individuals. Although addiction is medically recognized as an incurable disease, we have witnessed remarkable transformations—broken families restored, and individuals healed in body, mind, and spirit.

Our comprehensive 21-day healing program includes detoxification, de-addiction, and rehabilitation.

While there are no mandatory rules for post-treatment care, many of our clients voluntarily continue with follow-up sessions, choosing to remain sober “one day at a time.”

At its core, Prathyasha Bhavan is a home for individuals struggling with chemical dependency, particularly alcoholism, and a place of healing for their families. We offer continuous support and rehabilitation opportunities that help recovering individuals reintegrate into their families and society. Our mission is simple yet profound: to give every alcoholic another chance to rebuild their life—toward a future of sobriety, peace, and joy.

Vision Statement

From the bondage of chemical dependency to the freedom of sobriety, one day at a time.

Mission Statement

A holistic approach to liberate people from addictions through detoxification, de-addiction and rehabilitation programmes.

Our Objectives

  • To assist de-addicted individuals, especially alcoholics, in leading a normal and sober life, free from social stigma and the psychological compulsion to drink, through a week-long retreat and healing program.
  • To create public awareness on the ill effects of substance abuse—particularly alcohol—through street plays, music, and cultural programs under a special initiative called “Jeevan Maholsavam.”
  • To coordinate rehabilitation programs for alcoholics and promote inner healing among their families across the country.
  • To support families of chemically dependent individuals, especially alcoholics, by offering therapeutic guidance and organizing self-help groups that encourage emotional stability and recovery.
  • To develop an internet-based information and support system providing online assistance for individuals facing stress and depression due to chemical dependency—helping them lead productive and fulfilling lives.
  • To conduct awareness and prevention programs in educational institutions, addressing the dangers of alcohol and other addictive substances such as gutkha, pan masala, and tobacco, through a specially designed mobile stage called “Peace Wagon.”
  • To establish a global, web-based network connecting similar institutions and self-help groups, facilitating collaborative de-addiction treatment and inner healing for alcoholics and chemically dependent individuals.
  • To institute scholarships and studentships for the children of chemically dependent persons, especially alcoholics, irrespective of caste, color, or creed, supporting their education and future growth.
  • To acquire and maintain properties—including land, buildings, and other movable or immovable assets—necessary to achieve the objectives and mission of the organization.
