Prathyasha Bhavan is an initiative under the Liberation Social and Charitable Society, dedicated to providing de-addiction therapies for individuals struggling with alcohol and chemical dependence. Through its comprehensive programs, Prathyasha Bhavan also extends support to the families of alcoholics, fostering recovery and reintegration into society.

The Liberation Social and Charitable Society was formally established in 2008, at a time when addiction among youth in Kerala was reaching alarming levels. However, our mission began much earlier—in 1998—with focused efforts to raise awareness about chemical dependency and provide rehabilitation support for recovering alcoholics.
Our journey began with “Mukthi Bhavan,” a home for drug addicts and alcoholics, which soon inspired the creation of self-help groups in and around Thodupuzha. Following the founding of the Liberation Society, we were divinely guided to establish Prathyasha Bhavan, a psycho-social rehabilitation center situated within the premises of Divyarakshalayam, a home for the mentally challenged. This center continues to serve as a haven for healing, recovery, and hope for those affected by addiction.
